The thought of Botox® can sound scary, with images of large needles and overdone celebrities coming to mind. However it is far more common than you’d think and is the most common non-surgical anti-ageing treatment globally.
Botox® is a purified protein that relaxes wrinkle-causing muscles, temporarily softening facial lines, creating a refreshed, youthful look.
Botox® is suitable for most people to reduce lines and wrinkles. There is no ideal age to start, although treatments are more effective on less developed lines.
Botox® temporarily reduces the action of the treated muscles, preventing them from moving. This relaxation of the muscles can result in softer lines or wrinkles in the overlying skin, giving you a younger and fresher looking appearance.
The treatment is quick and simple. It takes 10-15 minutes, and the results appear gradually over the following few days. Results can last up to 3 or 4 months.
Caci only allow Cosmetic Nurse Specialists to treat clients. They will talk to you about your desired results and whether Botox® is suitable. All Caci Registered Nurses have completed intensive training in the administration of Botox® and dermal fillers.

This anti-ageing treatment is simple and has little to minor side effects. After the treatment, you may experience slight redness in the treated areas, this should go away within 15-20 minutes. Some people also experience a minor headache and bruising.
Costs vary depending on the area being treated and these will be discussed at a free consultation. At Caci, we aim to make Botox® affordable, so we’ve developed a Botox® treatment plan called Amerase, with affordable payment plans to suit your budget, so you can pay off your treatments weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
